Eric Meslin - 11th General Vice President

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that Local 28 announces that our President and Business Manager, Brother Eric Meslin, has been elected to serve as the 11th General Vice President of SMART International Association, effective February 9,2026.

Brother Meslin’s dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the members of Local 28 have long been evident, and this election reflects the respect and confidence he has earned throughout our International Association.

General President Michael Coleman expressed his confidence in Brother Meslin’s leadership, stating that he is pleased to welcome Eric’s voice to the General Executive Council. He believes that their combined efforts will continue to advance the goals of our Association and improve the lives of our membership.
