Local Union 28 Quick Certification for lapsed members
To assist our members who let their AWS welding certification lapse, the training center will run a quick cert program as needed. For more information, go to our Night Classes page.

Effective immediately, the JAC will be suspending in-house OSHA 30 and SST training and will be providing this training through a third-party vendor, Click Safety. This change will give the members more flexibility, allowing them to take the course however their schedules permit while saving money for the JAC. We have negotiated a 20% discount for Local 28 members who will also be reimbursed by the JAC upon completion of the course.

As of 12/28/20
‍All OSHA 30 cards must be validated prior to being issued a SST card. If an OSHA 30 card is found to be fraudulent, we are required to notify the DOB and we will not be able to issue the member a SST card.
